"Chevys" Not the car, the restaurant

By Scotty Fraser.
Rev up for one of the most relaxing, margarita style, happy hours in central florida. Man oh man these margaritas are no joke. I speak from alot of experience, the margarita mix prepared fresh daily, and the seasonal "ritas" are the most incredible: tounge tingling, tequila twisting, true tasting margaritas you have ever had in your entire life. I'll bet "ALL", of my liquor drinking experience on it!!!! Pop on in to Chevys between 4pm and 7pm monday-friday, and prepare yourself for a vacation to Mexico. Just let the bartenders prepare your beverage, and the chefs prepare your meal. Your meal, its "El Happy Hour Time" hi eeeeeeeeee!!!!!. Crispy flautas, nachos grande, spicy wings, i love those things, (great deal), fajita nachos, chicken or pork taquitos, and my favorite, chili con queso, all for under 4 bucks, no matter which central florida location you visit. Folks, the reason this happy hour is so different from the others, well, it's in the name, Chevys "Fresh Mex". Everything, and I mean everything is fresh. Every sauce, every tortilla, all of the margarita mix, even the ice cream cones are fried fresh daily. Chips are fried every minute, and guacamole is made fresh tableside everytime, I mean come on, this is more fresh than summer laundry on a line!!!! When I speak of an awesome fresh, mexican experience, from drink, to eat, I yell CHEVYS, yes CHEVYS Aw aw ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!!!!!!-Scotty Fraser. Your house, My house, "AleHouse"

By Scotty Fraser.
Alright folks, everyone in the beer drinking, happyhour scene, at least in central florida knows of this place. Walls adorned with giant gamefish (taxidermy style), giant offshore rods and reels stick out of the half walls separating the restaurants many, many booths, and did I mention the raw oysters, and clams that grace the bartop infront of the happy patrons that are paying $5.00 for a pitcher of miller lite, or $5.99 for a bucket of 5 MGD's. Hell yess thats what I said. Bucket and pitcher prices that are impossible anywhere else, due to hitting liquor cost. Honestly I have no idea how the Alehouse does it, but they do. These deals are offered all the time open to close. The alehouse boasts amazing seafood, such as shrimp parmesan, and mmmmmmmmm my favorite, (incase you didnt know), RAW OYSTERS BABY. The menu is across the board, no matter what your looking toward: burgers, chicken, seafood, steak, fresh fish, pastas, and the biggest full liquor bar....man its real big. Shot specials ring out in the late night, along with most locations providing outdoor bars for your enjoyment. All in all if you want fantastic food, really cheap beer prices, and the best sports televised on the many tv's, also pool mmmmmm the Alehouse is youe spot. Most are open 11am until 2 am.-Scotty Fraser. follow the title link for local times, and menu specials or click here http://www.millersalehouse.com/

An "Applebees" a day, keeps the doctor away

By Scotty Fraser.
APPLEBEES!!!! Yes folks I said it. Applebees, is serving up happy hour every hour, from open to close. 2 for 1 drinks, all day every day. And not just your ordinary, single liquor drinks. Long island iced teas, grateful deads, and the sex on the beach, (you guessed it), tastes like a peach. All draft beers, including yuengling, are also 2 for 1. And not those jacked up prices others offer. You actually get, 2 for 1. And what about the half price apps???? From 11am till 4pm, at the bar. And from 10pm till 2am in the entire restaurant. I'm talking cheap, prices, and for quality fare. Boneless buffalo wings, for under $5.00, a skillet full of chicken parmesan tanglers for less than 4 bucks, or a platter of deep fried onion rings for under $3. add all that together with a couple of 2 for 1 drinks, and you have found yourself a hell of an Orlando Happy Hour.-Scotty Fraser. click on the title link of follow the link below for locations, and hours.
